Co-TCCC Recommended Tourniquet The Tactical Mechanical Tourniquet (TMT™) is a bleeding control device specifically designed for massive hemorrhage control of an extremity wound. Lessons from years of combat, the TMT is designed to ensure ease of application and definitively save lives. As a self-aid and buddy-aid device, the TMT requires minimal training to instantly treat life-threatening bleeding. The TMT eliminates shortcomings found in other tourniquets, and can be paid with TQ-RAM (TQ-RAM™) to stop hemorrhage when a tourniquet cannot effectively stop bleeding.
